Reethi Faru Island Resort is a tropical island paradise, where the crystal clear ocean meets the endless white sand and its lush foliage turns it into a truly magical escape. Located in the Raa Atoll just a 45 minute seaplane flight from Male’ airport, or take a domestic flight followed by a speedboat to get you to the resort. Each one skillfully designed to make the most of the resorts tropical surroundings. Choose from a garden villa amongst the foliage, or a deluxe beach villa, where you can walk out directly on the the beach. For a little bit of extra luxury go for a Jacuzzi beach villa just steps from the shore. For families there are the 2 bedroom garden or beach villas and of course there are the water villas, stretching out over the lagoon. The ultimate choice is the 2 bedroom water villa Jacuzzi suite.
With 5 restaurants and 5 bars you really are spoilt for choice at this island resort, where you can dine in a variety of settings. Vakaru is the main restaurant, offering a buffet with different, themes set for each evening meal. Dhiyavaru with it’s 2 tiers, serving dishes influenced by both the West and East. Highlights include fresh fish and seafood. Huvandhu is the fine dining restaurant on Reethi Faru, and Reethi Grill offers a more relaxed place to eat. Raalhu Cafe is by the pool and is perfect for snacks, ices and light meals.
Haruge is the main bar, with an extensive game room, a 55 inch TV and evening themes, it is the social hub of the resort. Nala is there for you to enjoy a lovely refreshing drink or a light snack. A small bar with a handful of stools at the eastern tip of the island. Veyo is the pool bar and Sunset bar is the perfect place to watch the sun go down, with a beer or cocktail.
For divers the PADI dive centre and take you diving to dramatic overhangs, underwater walls and sea caves. You can also book dive courses, day and night dives, snorkel excursions and boat trips, including a dolphin safari.
Reethi Faru is a place where you have plenty to do, if you want to that is. There is the infinity pool and lots to do both above and below the water. Choose from paddle boarding, canoeing, tubing, kite-surfing, parasailing wind-surfing, jet-skiing and more. You can even go surfing. For land based sports you can try badminton, tennis or volleyball.
There is a fully equipped gym, but if you just want to relax then there is the Coconut Spa, with its relaxing ambience. Check out the steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi or relaxation area.
