There are only 45 rooms on Gili Lankanfushi Resort Maldives, with 5 types of accommodation to choose from, there are the over water luxury villas, with walk through the open-air living room and a very private rooftop sundeck. There’s a semi open-air private bathroom with separate glass walled shower area. One of these villas includes a spa suite. The residences have a king sized bed and some with two single beds. The residence is large enough for each of your family members to find their own hidden slice of solitude within, but cosy enough to share those moments of happiness together. Again one villa in this category includes a spa suite.
There are just7 Crusoe Residences, reached by a short boat ride. Here luxury, tranquillity and a true sense of open space awaits you. The Crusoe residences stand alone in the Indian Ocean, secluded for greater privacy. You get your own private Motorised Boat or Resort Pontoon to get back to Gili Lankanfushi Resort Maldives. Other touches include a private overwater hammock and a mini wine cellar. For more than 2 of you the large air conditioned living room with two large daybeds and dining table can be converted to become an additional bedroom.
There’s plenty of choice when it comes to dining, with 4 restaurants and a bar. At the main restaurant it’s all about relaxed outdoor dining with your toes in the sand. By The Sea offers amazing views of the Indian Ocean and intimate dining with just 5 tables and daybeds, plus a sushi bar and bistro seating. The food here is locally sourced and fuses Japanese cuisine with European, Asian and Peruvian flavours. The overwater bar sits on stilts over the turquoise lagoon, with a clean, fresh menu it’s the ideal place for a cold glass of wine, or two, and it’s open until you decide to leave. For hand-made chocolates, cheese and wine, head down a spiral staircase to the unique underground gourmet cellar with its driftwood tree trunk table centre piece. Here you can also dine accompanied by a wonderful sommelier.
If you are feeling a little energetic or just want a bit more to do then try out either the Infinity pool, gym, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, water-sports, snorkeling, CD/ games library, or watch a film in the jungle cinema. Whether diving Manta Point, windsurfing or unwinding with yoga to a perfect sunrise, there’s something for everyone. The Meera Spa’s over water setting heightens the sense of relaxation, with 6 treatment rooms featuring glass floor viewing windows to the Indian Ocean below. There is also a steam room and sauna here.
